WARNER HITS QUICKEST EVER SCG TEST CENTURY

On the fifth day of a rain-affected third Test between Australia and West Indies in Sydney, David Warner sent another record tumbling with the fastest Test century ever record at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Warner brought up his 16th Test century off 82 balls when he swept Jomel Warrican for three, sealing his place in history with no other batsman reaching three figures faster than him at the SCG.

Adverse weather removed any chance of an Australian whitewash, meaning they miss out on topping the ICC Test rankings, but Warner's 122no overshadowed any ill-feelings as the bails were removed with Australia on 176-2.
